We believe young children learn best through play. That’s why our preschool classrooms are full of hands-on exploration, child-led activities, and open-ended learning experiences. Our teachers use a play-based framework that encourages creativity, builds problem-solving skills, and supports social-emotional development.
In our Pre-K program, we blend child-led exploration with a structured kindergarten readiness curriculum. Children engage in early literacy, math, science, and social skills in ways that feel fun and natural. Our approach meets kids where they are while preparing them for what comes next.
Juniperhaven Preschool was founded by Amy Egle, a mom of four and experienced early childhood educator. Amy began with a licensed in-home childcare program in Bend in 2016. When she saw the growing need for high-quality, heart-centered preschool care, she took a leap and opened Juniperhaven Preschool in a renovated former church space in December 2021.
Now located in Scandia Square, just off Reed Market Road, Juniperhaven serves families from across Central Oregon. Our bright, welcoming classrooms and mural-covered exterior make us a beloved landmark for families in the area.

Tuition covers 8am-5pm
Drop-off at 6:30am: $75/additional fee
